INTR ODUCTION Coined by Neal Stephenson in his 1992 no v el “Sno w Crash, ” the meta v erse is a term describing a virtual uni v erse without ph ysical limitations, of fering an immersi v e escape from real-life [1]. Recent techno- logical adv ancements, particularly in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), Blockchain, and articial intelligence (AI), ha v e propelled the meta v erse concept into popularity . Rooted in early virtual w orlds lik e Sec- ond Life and W orld of W arcraft, the meta v erse has e v olv ed be yond these limited platforms. T oday , it en visions a fully immersi v e uni v erse across v arious de vices, allo wing seamless transitions bet ween ph ysical and virtual realms. Anticipated functi onalities include socializing, b usiness transactions, g aming, attending e v ents, and earning a li v elihood. meta v erse’ s e v olution has been dri v en by se v eral f actors: adv ances in technology , chang- ing social norms, and the need for ne w forms of human interaction and collaboration. T echnological adv ances As society increasingly digitizes, the meta v erse is seen as a natural e xtension of our online li v es, of fering ne w opportunities for self-e xpression, community b uilding, and economic gro wth.
