The
purpose
of
this
project
w
as
to
investigat
e
the
use
of
emb
edded
system
and
smartphone
technologies
in
conjunct
ion
with
Raspberry
P
i
and
NodeMCU
to
create
an
intelligent
system
for
smart
farming
(SF)
.
By
means
of
experiments
and
comparative
analysis
carried
out
in
several
agric
ultural
contexts
,
the
research
evaluated
the
efficacy
of
the
intell
igent
s
ystem.
Results
showed
that
the
system
was
able
to
handle
pertine
nt
agric
ultural
activit
ies
and
effectively
monito
r
import
ant
environm
ental
factors
inc
luding
temperatu
re,
humidity,
soil
moisture,
and
climatic
quality.
The
system'
s
remote
accessibility
helped
farme
rs
by
allowing
them
to
effectively
o
versee
agricult
ural
operation
s
at
any
time
and
from
any
location
.
As
a
conseq
uence,
SF
techniques
produced
more
production,
lower
costs,
and
mai
ntained
assets.
