Kateryna Molodetska , Yuriy Tymonin , Ihor Melnychuk
Social networking services are one of the most popular mass media and are used as an effective tool for information confrontation due to their functional characteristics. Existing models of information confrontation take into account the redistribution between conflict parties of only one kind of resource, although in the social networking services there is a need to consider additional factors that determine the effectiveness of virtual communities’ opposition. A conceptual model of information confrontation of virtual communities in social networking services has been developed, and it includes three-layer dynamics of the number of actors, growth of information resources of virtual communities and dynamics of spending resources for the confrontation conduct. The model also takes into account the peculiarities of the antagonistic conflict of virtual communities’ actors through the choice of a differential equation that corresponds to the type of its dynamics. The offered conceptual model formalizes the behavior of virtual communities’ actors in the conditions of antagonistic conflict. At the same time, it allows to investigate the peculiarities of using different strategies to carry out the information fight of virtual communities in social networking services, to choose optimal strategies, to predict the development of conflicts in the information space and to develop effective measures to counter threats to the state’s information security.

The optimal sizing of analog circuits is one of the most complicated processes, because of the number of variables taken into, to the number of required objectives to be optimized and to the constraint functions restrictions. The aim is to automate this activity in order to accelerate the circuits design and sizing. In this paper, we deal with the optimization of the three stage bipolar transistor amplifier performances namely the voltage gain (AV), the input impedance (ZIN), the output impedance (ZOUT), the power consumption (P) and the low and the high cutoff frequency (FL,FH), through the Genetic Algorithm (GA). The presented optimization problem is of multi-dimensional parameters, and the trade-off of all parameters. In fact, the passive components (Resistors and Capacitors) are selected from manufactured constant values (E12, E24, E48, E96, E192) for the purpose of reduce the cost of design; also, the intrinsic parameters of transistors (hybrid parameters and the junction capacitances) are considered variables in order not to be limited in design. SPICE simulation is used to validate the obtained result/performances.

One of the areas that have challenges in the use of internet of things (IoT) is the field of tourism and travel. The issue here is how to employ this technology to serve the tourism and managing the produced data. This work is focus on the use of tourists' trajectories that are collected from global positioning system (GPS) mobile sensors as a source of information. The aim of work is to predict preferred tourism places for tourists by tracking tourists' behavior to extract the tourism places that have been visited by such tourists. Density based clustering algorithm is mainly used to extract stay points and point of interest (POI). By projecting GPS location (for user and places) on the Google map, the type and name of places favored by the tourists are determined. K nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm with haversine distance has been adopted to find the nearest places for tourists. The evaluation of the obtained results shows superior and satisfactory performance that can reach the objective behind this work.

This article presents the techniques for the synthesis of oxygen-free graphene for doped in titanium dioxide TiO2. This work hypothesised the introduction of a new method for incorporating graphene nanoplatelets GNP in Anatase TiO2 using adhesive nanocomposite material, which has been done to enhance the conductivity of the nanocomposite. This work also argues with lamina problems in Graphene oxide, which reduce electron mobility and cause the electron pathways to be rerouted. The characteristics of the nanocomposite measure the colour difference, the photocurrent-voltage measurement (I-V measurement), Raman Spectroscopy, and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy EDS. Simple visual observation results for various thin films show a colour shade difference due to the better dispersion of the nanocomposites. The uniform colour change with different weight ratios can also show the distribution of graphene sheets. Similarly, similar ratios to photocurrent-voltage readings were obtained by the different nanocomposite weights in I-V measurement. The Raman spectroscopy also recognises the existence of well-composed 2D energy band GNP sheets cooperated inside the TiO2. Finally, the work concludes with the reduction of the oxygen in weight ratios atomic, which lead to a better atomic level and the optimal weight ratio of GNP sheets to Titanium to increase the free mobility of electrons.

10.11591/ijece.v10i1.pp202-209
Zena Ahmed Alwan , Hamid Mohammed Farhan , Siraj Qays Mahdi
Steganography is a best method for in secret communicating information during the transference of data. Images are an appropriate method that used in steganography can be used to protection the simple bits and pieces. Several systems, this one as color scale images steganography and grayscale images steganography, are used on color and store data in different techniques. These color images can have very big amounts of secret data, by using three main color modules. The different color modules, such as HSV-(hue, saturation, and value), RGB-(red, green, and blue), YCbCr-(luminance and chrominance), YUV, YIQ, etc. This paper uses unusual module to hide data: an adaptive procedure that can increase security ranks when hiding a top secret binary image in a RGB color image, which we implement the steganography in the YCbCr module space. We performed Exclusive-OR (XOR) procedures between the binary image and the RGB color image in the YCBCR module space. The converted byte stored in the 8-bit LSB is not the actual bytes; relatively, it is obtained by translation to another module space and applies the XOR procedure. This technique is practical to different groups of images. Moreover, we see that the adaptive technique ensures good results as the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and stands for mean square error (MSE) are good. When the technique is compared with our previous works and other existing techniques, it is shown to be the best in both error and message capability. This technique is easy to model and simple to use and provides perfect security with unauthorized.

The increasing demand of electricity and number of distributed generations connected to power system greatly influence the level of power service reliability. This paper aims at improving the reliability in an electric power distribution system by optimizing the number and location of sectionalizers using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Simulated Annealing (SA) methods. Comparison of these two methods has been based on the reliability indices commonly used in distribution system: SAIFI, SAIDI, and CAIDI. A case study has been taken and simulated at a feeder of Pujon, a place in East Java province of Indonesia, to which some distributed generators were connected. Using the existing reliability indices condition as base reference, the addition of two distributed plants, which were micro hydro and wind turbine plants, has proven to lower the indices as much as 0.78% for SAIFI, 0.79% for SAIDI, and 2.32% for CAIDI. The optimal relocation of the existing 16 sectionalizers in the network proved to decrease further the reliability indices as much as 43.96% for SAIFI, 45.52% for SAIDI, and 2.8% for CAIDI, which means bringing to much better reliability condition. The implementation of the SA method on the considered data in general resulted in better reliability indices than using the ACO method.

Electricity are commonly generated from several types of energy resources such as fossil and nuclear energy. However, due to emission of carbon dioxide from both sources, renewable energy is introduced to provide a clean and secure sustainable energy. One of the potential renewable energy application is Photovoltaic (PV) system; namely grid-connected photovoltaic (GCPV) system and stand-alone photovoltaic (SAPV) system. In this study, a mathematical approach of SEDA’s GCPV sizing model is implemented to size a 4kWp of a retrofitted GCPV system by the method claimed to be the best practice mathematical design model under tropical climate Malaysia.  The outcome of the sizing approach will then be evaluated with HelioScope software, one of commercial simulation tools available in current market.  The final result obtained from both methods shows that the final PV array configuration is 1 x 12 (parallel x series) which is in agreement to the actual installed system.
