Back-stepping Adaptive SVM Direct Torque Control of SPMSM Drive system

10.11591/ijeecs.v12.i9.pp6587-6593
Hua Sun , Xuan Cui , Chuansheng Tang
A novel back-stepping adaptive control strategy is proposed to direct torque control (DTC) of surface permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) in order to solve some problems existed in conventional DTC, such as high flux , torque and current ripple, variable switching frequency, and acoustic noises. PI speed regulator and two hysteresis regulators in the conventional DTC system are substituted by the proposed back-stepping adaptive controller respectively. The output of the designed controller makes space vector modulation (SVM) possible, which further ensures the inverter switching frequency to be fixed. The stability of the controller is verified via Lyapunov stable theory.Simulation results show that the presented control strategy can solve these problems effectively and show strong robust to external disturbance and noise.

Abstract Dynamic Route Guidance System, which can provide the drivers with the optimal routes, is one of the most efficient solutions to the traffic jam. This paper presents a bee inspired zonal vehicle routing algorithm to provide a reasonable and effective optimal route for the Dynamic Route Guidance System. Firstly, the proposed algorithm divided the whole traffic network into different traffic guidance zone based on Shapley value game. Then, real time traffic data was collected in each traffic guidance zone by inter-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications. Ultimately, the proposal simulated the bee foraging phenomenon in the biological system to synchronously compute the optimal routes in each traffic guidance zone. The simulation results show that the algorithm

Achmad; Institut Teknologi Bandung Munir , Biru Tutur; Institut Teknologi Bandung Ranum
The paper deals with the numerical and experimental development of single stage radio frequency (RF) amplifier with high gain for 2.4GHz receiver front-ends. The work is motivated by the increasing demand of high-gain receiver amplifier in low-cost especially for wireless local area network (WLAN) application. Prior hardware realization and experimental characterization, the proposed amplifier which uses a single RF transistor of BFP420 type is numerically designed using ADS® software to satisfy the required specification. To obtain the impedance matching at ports of amplifier, microstrip lines are employed at the input and output ports. The prototype of amplifier is realized by use of a dielectric substrate of glass-reinforced epoxy lamination (FR4) board which has thickness of 0.762mm and relative permittivity of 4.3. The prototype is then experimentally characterized and demonstrates the gain of 13.35dB at frequency of 2.4GHz with the noise figure of 3.33dB, the input and output voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 2.08 and 2.55, respectively.

Fang; Shenyang Ligong University Jin , Zhi-hua; Shenyang Ligong University Yuan , Qing-Quan; Shenyang Ligong University Liu , Zhang; Agricultural Development Bank of China branch in Liaoning Xing
This paper investigates quantized feedback control problems for network empowerment ammunition, where the sensors and the controller are connected by a digital communication network with data-rate limitations. Different from the existing ones, a new bit-allocation algorithm on the basis of the singular values of the plant matrix is proposed to encode the plant states. A lower bound on the data rate is presented to ensure stabilization of the unstable plant. It is shown in our results that, the algorithm can be employed for the more general case. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

10.11591/ijeecs.v12.i9.pp6725-6731
DeWang Chen , XiangYu Zeng , GuiWen Jia
Traditional control algorithms in Automatic Train Operation (ATO) system have some drawbacks, such as high energy consumption and low riding comfort. Combined with data mining methods and driving experience, two Intelligent Train Operation (ITO) models for the subway train control are proposed. Firstly the training data set was sorted out and sieved out from the real train operation data set by drivers in Beijing subway line Yizhuang to establish the standard database. By using Classification and Regression Trees (CART) algorithm and Bagging ensemble learning method which base on CART algorithm, two ITO models are dug out to represent the output of controller with limited speed, running time and gradient. In the train control simulation platform, ITO models were compared with the traditional PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control algorithm of ATO systems. The simulation results indicate the proposed ITO models are better than PID control in energy consumption, riding comfort and switching times of controller’s output. Furthermore, the ITO model with bagging ensemble learning method is better especially in energy consumption and riding comfort.

Duo Zhang , Fengqing Han
Real-time and accurate short-term traffic flow prediction is the premise and key of intelligent traffic control and guidance system. According to this problem, this paper put forward a prediction model based on multivariable phase space reconstruction and least squares support vector machine (LSSVM). First, the model confirms embedding dimension and delay time of the traffic flow, occupancy and average speed time series by analyzing their chaotic characteristics, and reconstructs multivariable state space. Second, the phase points obtained after reconstruction are as input, and the last traffic flow parameters came from the following phase points are as output. Finally, the LSSVM which be trained is adapted to realize short-term traffic flow prediction. This research compares this model with a model based on univariate phase space reconstruction and LSSVM, and the results show that the model proposed in this paper predicts better.

Due to the channel with characteristic of sparse multi-path in the 60 GHZ wireless communication system, the channel estimation problem can be attributed to that of sparse signals recovery. And with the consideration of the subspace pursuit (SP) algorithm is superior to the orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) at reconstruction precision, the channel estimation technique based on the SP algorithm is presented in the 60 GHZ wireless communication system, First, design the OFDM multi-carrier modulation communication system. Then, establish the channel estimation mathematical model with indoor Line-of-sight. Finally, complete the reconstruction of sparse signals using SP algorithm. The experimental results and comparison analysis show that the presented technique based on the SP algorithm provides better channel estimation performances in the same pilot conditions, and it is superior to the technique based on OMP algorithm and the technique based on least square (LS) algorithm.

A great many problems, such as scalability, mapping data searching, high frequency update of mapping data, arise in the future network resource mapping system for its vast data processing need. Future Network Chord (FN Chord), an algorithm based on Chord and aims at solving the resources identity mapping and searching problem, is put forward by taking advantage of the qualities of scalability, rapid searching speed, high searching efficiency and flexible naming of chord in order to solve this problem. What’s more, an extra interest node index table for FN Chord is designed to record the hotspot resource mapping location in the paper. So, the resource searching strategy, which is named as Interest Index Table Future Network Chord (IIT-FN Chord) is proposed to search the resource in the paper. The entropy weight method is used to calculate the node interest level according the interest nodes’ resource item online time and visited times and to renew the interest index table. Moreover, probability replacement method is proposed to replace the outdated item on interest index table with new item. Simulation results show that the algorithm can decrease the average searching latency, average searching hops and thus increases the searching efficiency for the resource searching.
